The CEO of Zarrin Dagh Astarakan Mining Company stated: in coordination with the Varzaqan county governor, the company has discharged its social responsibilities with an 11 billion rial contribution over the past eight months of the current year.
The CEO told reporters that in 1402, as in previous years, the company has stood alongside the people of the Kharvana region in various areas — particularly rural road maintenance and snow clearance, assistance to people in need, support for agriculture and drinking water, participation in development projects, and contributions to national and religious occasions.
He added: in the first eight months of the year, at the request of local officials — particularly the head of the Kharvana judicial district — the company contributed 2 billion rials to the construction of the Kharvana religious-scholar residence (Khaneh Alem) and 1.6 billion rials to the supply of medicines for needy patients and other public services.
The CEO continued: in coordination with the district governor, Islamic councils and local officials, the company also contributed 3.5 billion rials towards retaining-wall construction, the cost of national and religious programmes, and support for the Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation and public services requested by various departments.
Referring to the Golrizan charity ceremony held for the first time in the Kharvana district, he noted: at this ceremony — organised earlier in the year by the Kharvana judicial district — Zarrin Dagh Astarakan donated 900 million rials to the provincial Diyeh fund to help free prisoners held for unintentional crimes.
He concluded by referring to the company's 3 billion rial contribution to the construction of the Kharvana crisis-management building, expressing the hope that the company will continue to stand alongside the wise people of the region in line with its economic situation.
