ZDA Mining (Zarin Dagh Astarakan) was founded in 2007 to explore, develop and operate metal mines, with regional support from Azerbaijan Mining Company and investment from a Georgian geological-mining partner. Today the company runs the most active exploration programme in East Azerbaijan Province and operates the Andarian gold deposit using modern heap leach technology.

Our processing route is heap leaching — the cheapest and most environmentally safe gold-recovery technology available. The system runs as a closed loop: water and reagents stay inside the circuit, with only modest top-up needed to compensate for evaporation.
